Sundays

MCC AT HOME

In response to our Government’s recent announcement, our Sunday gatherings are going to look a little different for the next while. Rather than meet altogether, we will be meeting in small groups in homes - reducing risk, but increasing community! So, get together with your small group to watch our gathering, or stream from wherever you are.

There will still be preaching, worshipping God, and we’ll be praying for you! The bonus is the chance for you to meaningfully connect with your small group.

To find out more, send us an email so we can connect you with a small group that will work out for you! admin@masseycommunitychurch.co.nz

MCC @ home - streaming on our Massey Community Church Facebook page at 10.30AM and later on YouTube

Sunday Mornings

Worship

We offer a place for people to connect with God through a variety of means – music, prayer, Bible readings, creative items such as dance and drama, responsive readings, quiet reflection.

Teaching

We are committed to the teaching of the Bible and believe it is the Word of God for his people today just as much as it was in the past. We have a range of teaching styles – expositional preaching, topical messages, story-telling, and small group (Ako) discussions which occur at the end of some series. Preaching is done by a variety of people who are approved by eldership and who have had theological and preaching training.

Community

We believe that we are called to not only know and serve God but to know and serve each other as his children. To this end we consider each other to be Whanau and are committed to being involved in each other’s lives. We are not a spectator church. A range of people participate in up front roles on Sunday mornings and MCC members are encouraged to let others hear their voice and to share their stories about God’s work in their lives – both for their own and for others’ encouragement. We run a café after our gatherings in order for us to deepen our relationships with each other and connect together regularly.
